This page explains what we collect when you use mehman.ai or join the Mehman travel waitlist. We use those details to manage the waitlist and contact you about access.
What we collect
- Your email address for the Mehman waitlist, which we use to manage your place and contact you about Mehman access.
- Your seat number and the time you joined, so we can let people in order.
- Usage data: pages viewed, clicks, scroll depth, time on the page, whether you joined, which share button you used, errors, and session replays (typed form fields are masked). We use PostHog for this, and link it to your email once you join.
- Device and location data: browser, operating system, screen size, language, time zone, referrer, and approximate location (country and city) from your IP address.
- Technical data such as your IP address and browser, which our hosting provider processes to deliver the site and block abuse. We use it for rate limiting and do not store it in our waitlist database.
What we do with it
- Send you a confirmation email, and an email when your seat is ready.
- Understand how the site is used so we can improve it.
- Keep the site secure and prevent spam.
We do not sell your email or share it for advertising.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel: hosting and security.
- Supabase: stores the Mehman waitlist records.
- Zoho CPaaS: sends our emails.
- PostHog: product analytics.
- Cloudflare Turnstile: may be used to check that a signup comes from a person.
What stays in your browser
We save your Mehman waitlist signup (email and seat) in your browser's local storage so your boarding pass is still there when you come back. PostHog uses a cookie or local storage to recognise repeat visits. Clear your browser data or choose "Start over" on the Mehman page to remove the saved waitlist signup.
How long we keep it
Until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it for the waitlist.
Your choices
Email founders@mehman.io to see, correct or delete your data, or to be removed from the waitlist. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honour them. You can also reply "remove me" to any email we send.
Children
Mehman is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
Changes
If we change this page we will update the date at the top. For anything significant we will email people on the waitlist.
